Obiettivi formativi
The Master of Science in Electronic Engineering for the Internet-of-Things aims to train engineers in one of the most promising area of innovation, namely Internet of Things. The presence of electronic devices and systems is now pervasive, and embraces all fields, both domestic and industrial. In other words, the electronics are now in all things, as animated objects or “digital things”. There is an increasingly request of electronic technologies for the realization of smart objects and for their interconnection, in order to process and transmit data. The graduates will bring all the expertise and competence to lead design and production activities in such a field. The course will cover both the short-distance/low-power interconnection application and the aerospace one.
Requisiti di accesso
The enrolment is regulated in accordance with the rules of access to Italian higher education. A verification procedure of the requirements for admission to the course of study is done before the beginning of the course. Applicant may contact the course board for informal evaluation of the curriculum in advance with respect to formal application. An essential prerequisite to access to the master degree program is to hold a bachelor’s degree, or another qualification obtained abroad, standing at least three years, and recognized as valid, in one of the following areas: Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics. If needed, preparatory educational activities and recovery of any educational requirements will be organized to homogenize the formation of students of different origin in order to fit adequately in the specific formation process.
Titolo di studio straniero necessario
There is no limitation to the access of foreign students. Within the Marco Polo program, the Master of Science in Electronic Engineering for the Internet-of-Things allocates 5 positions reserved for foreign students from countries participating the program.
