First Level Degree in Industrial Engineering (L-9)

Obiettivi formativi

Graduates in Industrial Engineering are able to conduct the detailed design of a product/process innovation, the product development, installation and testing of machines and complex systems, maintenance and management of production departments as well as promotional activities, sales and technical assistance. The professionalism of the graduates in Industrial Engineering will be oriented to job opportunities in the engineering, electromechanical, energy, chemicals industries, involved in the production of machines, components, systems and plants and in automation and robotics industries. Graduates will find good opportunities also in services enterprises and as scientific and technical advisors in public and private bodies.

Requisiti di accesso

The qualification required for access is the Italian school leaving qualification (diploma of secondary school) awarded after completion of 13 years of schooling and passing the relevant State. Examination or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as valid. Students who enroll in First Level Courses of Industrial Engineering have to take the On-Line admission Test CISIA, briefly called TOLC. The tests are designed to evaluate the students. Recovery paths through the Additional Learning Requirements (OFA), are defined for the students that highlighted significant deficiencies. Every student can enroll, regardless of the grade obtained in the test. Detailed information can be found on the website of the Department of Engineering

Organizzazione delle lezioni

The Course in Industrial Engineering is a 3 years course. The teaching courses are distributed in two periods called semesters. First semester: from September till January. Second semester: from February till end of May. The cost of living in Terni is about € 500,00 per month.

Costi

The tuition fee is about € 1.300,00 per year, but it depends on the family income. The cost of living in Perugia is about € 700,00 per month.
