Objectives

The University for Foreigner of Perugia develops research activities and offers

academic courses in two main fields of studies: Communications and International Relations, Teaching methods and the promotion of the Italian language.

Academic courses offered:

3-year Bachelor’s Degree Program (Undergraduate Level)

• Italian Language and Culture

• International and Advertising Communication

 

2-year Master’s degree Program (Postgraduate Level):

• Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language

• Promotion of Italy abroad

• Advertising Communications

• International Relations and Development Cooperation

 

First Level Master - 60 university credits - subsequent to a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree

• Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language

• Tourism Management and Communication

• Information Architecture

• Multimedia Production

• Operator in the Juridical area and Legal Professions

 

Second Level Master - 60 university credits - subsequent to a 2-year Master’s Degree

• Internationalization and Communication of the Productive System in the Mediterranean area (2nd Level)

 

PhDs/Doctorates

The Doctorate Cycle in Literary, Librarian, Linguistic and International Communication Sciences (XXXII cycle) is articulated in four disciplinary areas currently active:

• Communication of the literature and the Italian cultural tradition in the world;

• Processes of internationalization of communication;

• Book Science and Writing;

• Linguistics and Philological Sciences.

 

Admission requirements

Two Different access opportunities:

1. Marco Polo Program

Chinese students can enroll in Bachelor and Master Degree Courses offered by the University for Foreigners Perugia by the means of Marco Polo and Turandot Program after 10 months of study in Italian Language and Culture Course at this University.

Direct access: from Italian Language Course to Bachelor /Master Degree Program Marco Polo and Turandot.

 

Who can access:

• Students holding a Secondary School Leaving Certificate who obtained a minimum

mark of 380/750 at the Gao Kao;

• Students holding a Chinese Bachelor Degree.

Submission of pre-enrolment forms: two Steps

 

a. The choice of courses for pre-enrolment. On the web site of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (‘Studenti Stranieri’ web page), it is possible to browse the list of the courses with the corresponding quotas that each institution has reserved to Chinese students.

 

b. The choice of the seat of the Italian language course. The University for Foreigners of Perugia

2. Long term Visa permit in Italy – Reserved seats for Foreign students in Italy

• Secondary School or University degree

• Certified Italian Language Knowledge: at least B2 CEFR
